EMBROIDERY FAQS

A vector is file made up of lines and shapes and is infinitely resizable without loosing quality. A vector file will be expressed as .eps, .svg or .ai and is editable using the correct program. This is different from an image file like png or jpeg which is made up of pixels. This format is not editable and can only be reduced in size (not scaled bigger) without losing quality.

Always supply your logo in vector format.

Embroidered garment & accessories doe not require extra care when washing and wearing. However we do recommend following the wash instructions of the garment to ensure the garment last as long as the embroidery.

Your uniform can last for many years when you follow the wash instructions of the garment.

Here are some further precautions to take if you wish to extend the lift of the garment and the embroidery even further.

  • Turn the item inside out to shield the embroidery.
  • Avoid laundering with items that have hard features like zippers or buttons which could potentially damage the embroidery.
  • Use a gentle detergent.
  • If feasible, air drying is preferred to prevent any shrinkage.
  • For items with vivid colours, washing in cold water can help minimise the risk of the colours running.
  • If ironing is necessary, steer clear of steam and never iron directly on the embroidered sections. Instead, place a pressing cloth over the embroidery or iron the fabric from the reverse side.
